Annoucing "Care to Share?", A New Blog Feature

We all love antiques!  And we all love a great story.

Announcing "Care to Share?" a new Look What I Found blog feature! I have so much fun talking with you about interesting antiques and vintage items that I find.  How about talking about your pieces, too?

If you have a great find and would like to share it with the world, just email me at LookWhatIJustFound@gmail.com with a picture or two of your item, and the following information:
  • Your name and where you are emailing from.
  • A brief description of the item.
  • Where and when you found it.
  • Only if you are comfortable disclosing... how much you paid for it.
  • Anything you know about the item, including history behind it.
I will share the best finds with our fabulous collector's community in a special quarterly "Care To Share?"  column.  And if your item is featured, you will receive four free tickets to the next New England Antique Shows event!

Again, email me at LookWhatIJustFound@gmail.com with your find... do not post it in the comments section at the end of this post or I'll  have no way to get back to you!!!

So, Care To Share?

Best, Vintage Val

  1. I have a Haviland Limoges Meadow Visitors 8 1/2" plate. It has the old mark from circa late 1800s. This plate has a butter fly in the flat part of the plate along with looks to my like a wheat stalk. Scalloped edges, with the wheat design, butterflies, etc on the edge. It also has a 1/2" pink border between the flat part of the plate and the edge. I have not found another one like it.
